In July 2012, Armstrong filed a lawsuit in The us District Courtroom with the Western District of Texas, requesting which the courtroom "bar USADA from pursuing its case or issuing any sanctions towards him" based upon the claim that "USADA rules violate athletes' constitutional legal rights to a fair demo, and the company doesn't have jurisdiction
